National Technical Support & Systems Framework | Wai Connection – Tatai Ki Te Wai

This video outlines EOS Ecology’s role as the National Technical Support team for the Wai Connection – Tatai Ki Te Wai programme, a catchment-scale initiative placing community and catchment groups at the centre of freshwater action across Aotearoa New Zealand. Subcontracted by the Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust, EOS provided integrated science, geospatial systems, workflow automation, and programme design expertise to develop structured tools, datasets, and technical frameworks that supported coordinated, data-informed catchment action across regional Provider Organisations. In parallel, EOS also served as the Provider Organisation for Waitaha/Canterbury, delivering regional implementation through direct engagement with catchment groups and stakeholders. Together, these roles demonstrate EOS’s capability in designing structured environmental systems while supporting coordinated regional delivery at catchment scale.
