SOD Mage Invasion Boost

Boosting as a Mage in Season of Discovery Boosting is a hot topic in SoD, and with all these Paladins, Shamans, Druids, Warlocks, and Rogues offering boosts, I haven’t seen many Mages doing it. So I hit up my Paladin friend and we timed ourselves—30 minutes each—to compare XP gains. These tests were done with no world buffs and no consumables (aside from the Undead Weapon Oil you get from runes). The results were extremely close! One thing I did that the Paladin didn’t was loot mobs. I wasn’t really sure what to use the runes on at first, but when I found out the gloves give one to two Nexus Crystals, I realized there might be quite a bit of gold being left on the table. On top of that, mobs were dropping raw gold—anywhere from 0 to 15 silver per mob. Anyway, I ended up having a ton of fun doing this, and it actually gave me a reason to play my Mage outside of raid logging.
