Today, I ride two segments of the Tahoe Rim Trail: from Tahoe Meadows to Tunnel Creek and from Tunnel Creek to Marlette Lake. These two trails are two of the most scenic mountain bike trails you can ride anywhere. With views that oscillate between the overlook of Lake Tahoe and the Nevada side, this flowy trail provides views throughout the ride and numerous spots to stop and enjoy a lunch or drink. It's rated as an intermediate trail and I would agree that just about anyone can ride this trail. The Marlette Lake segment will also treat you to excellent views overlooking both Marlette Lake and Lake Tahoe. At the end of the trail, you can treat yourself to a dip into Marlette Lake to cool off on a hot day.
