‘Egypt’ is all over the news now 😃. When I recently conducted a ‘yatra’ to this country with 150 yatris that once housed a great civilization, many people asked why? In my forthcoming lectures, I will try sharing the similarities both civilisations have had in common 🙏🏽 That aside, this was the first time, that a Nile cruise had discourses on a ‘Sanskrit’ poem, recitation of ‘Vishnu Sahasranamam’, serving of satvic vegetarian food (prasadam) cooked by our cooks, and ‘Q&A’ sessions ❤️ Here is an excerpt from the cruise deck, featuring Smt Hema Rajagopalan (the artistic director of NATYA Chicago) with over seven decades of dancing career, whom I have had the pleasure in 2017 to work on a dance production (based on the life & works of Bhagavad Sri Ramanuja). Despite being a sishya of the sampradaya that was nourished by Sri Ramanuja & Sri Vedanta Desika, I have the greatest respects for Adi Shankara. Everytime I listen to his #BhajaGovindam, I get teary. His bhakti to Sriman Narayana is visible throughout this composition!
