Hazel Money - My first year at Patchings Art Festival 2023

Thrilled to be asked to take part at Patchings Art Festival in July 2023, with a demonstration held in the hi-tech Art Profile marquee. Celebrating 30 years of the event, we enjoyed a mix of weather and a fantastic array of tents, artists, demonstrations, materials.... and amazing food too! What's not to like?! The time flew past, especially during my demonstration. I met familar faces and new, and watched some very entertaining demos by other artsts. Oh - and did I mention the shopping...?! As an artist living and working in Derbyshire, I travelled across the border into Nottinghamshire to Calverton, where Patchings Art Centre can be found in the centre of lovely rural surroundings. Each year the organisers put on this marvellous event, bringing together well known artists, artisans and art materials from across the country and further afield.
