Most men do not reach their full potential in life. The reason is due to distractions. In my life, the number one distraction has been a relationship. I am not saying that a relationship is a bad thing, but I am saying that for me, as a man, the comfort of a woman and the convenience of a relationship has distracted me from focusing on my goals, dreams and aspirations. I have learned that I am in my most masculine state of mind when I am on my purpose. I am a purpose driven person and I believe many, if not most men are. I don't think that most men, who are not purpose driven even realize this, until they find their purpose. I fully believe when a man finds and gets laser focused on his purpose, he is on the path to becoming a better man. Men get distracted easy because life is hard. We sometimes yearn for the comfort of a woman but we can sometimes let our desires get the best of us. When we have a woman in our life, she begins to make life comfortable for us and this can hurt us if we are not careful. Due the comfort and convenience of a healthy relationship, we can lose focus of our purpose and slowly the relationship or the woman becomes our purpose. This is when we begin to lose hold of our goals and our purpose. This is where we start to slow down and stunt ourselves from reaching our full potential. Healthy relationships are great but as men, we must keep our eyes on the prize, which is our purpose.
