I show you how to convert your old super 8 film over to digital using a phone or a normal camera. I have a contraption called Polstar box that you film into and it bounces off a mirror out another hole that you film. I also tried to film screen. I used one of those led light stands that youtubers use to light themselves. worked ok, but bit of glare and scratches. I recommend you just use a white piece of paper. You will have to go full MacGyver on this and experiment what works best. The shutter speed was the hardest thing as there was constant flickering. I preferred using my camera and in shutter priority, but I show you how the phone can be used in auto or manual mode also called Pro Video mode on phones. The flickering that I was getting was only in certain parts and I believe it was because my projector is not very reliable when playing back. Anyway. For the oldskool kids out there. this is just another side project that I like doing. Its been raining and one of those weeks I could not be bothered going out for a photo walk.
