I ride technical MTB trails, huge gap jumps, wooden features and urban freeride hits to put these wildly different priced bikes head to head, will the cheap bike survive? I put my Canyon Sender downhill bike against the far cheaper £350 Aliexpress downhill bike to show you how much better a real DH bike is. We start the video off at Windhill bike park and get into the action on some huge drops before getting into one of the biggest jump lines in the UK and pushing myself!! The cheap Aliexpress bike has quick release wheels, scary welds and super thin tyres but how much slower will it be on the timed DH section? We then move to an urban freeride environment and hit some stair sets of doom to see how the bike will fair and already we see the wheels start to get destroyed.
