Night on the Drag - An exciting place at Carnival Trinidad

The Drag is an interesting place during Carnival in Trinidad to spend an afternoon or night. The Drag is the paved area leading to the Queen's Park Savannah Carnival Stage in Port of Spain Trinidad and in the past was called The Stretch and then called The Barber Green. There is food and drinks available from the many booths erected along the sides. You can easily visit the Carnival Village which is adjacent to the Drag and then come and relax at any point along the Drag. All the booths in this area remain in place for two weeks after Carnival and then are taken down until the next Carnival. In this video we visit the Drag on two separate nights, with one being the night before the Panorama semi-finals when many of the steelbands come to practice.
