I talk about the 3 most important graphic design principles to me as a graphic designer. Mastering and utilising these principles change my graphic design work completely, and elevated my career to new levels. Sure, all of the principles have a time and a place in your workflow, but for me, these 3 principles are the ones that really made the biggest difference. Repetition, simplicity, and hierarchy, are the 3 main principles that I find to be most effective in making effective graphic design works. You will of course use other principles too, and you won't use these 3 on every single project. There is also a lot more that goes into a design that makes it 'work', but this is a great start to learn and transform your designs into better calibre works.
