Hot Sauce on Ice Cream! - Testing Alabama Hot Sauce 'Red Hot Blueberry

I am constantly answering questions from customers about the best application for my fruit-based sauces. I have always told them that they are good on pies and other sweets. Sounds strange, but heat and sweet make a good combination. My first fruit-based sauce was "Red Hot Blueberry". I had tried it personally on cobblers, pies, and creamed peaches. However, I had always thought about trying it on ice cream. So, I too a trip to the Cook Out Grill here in Florence. They are renowned for what they call milk shakes, but honestly you cannot drink them....they are really just delicious ice cream treats in a cup. So, I order up a vanilla and brought in a bottle of my Alabama Hot Sauce 'Red Hot Blueberry'. The video shows you how it went and what I thought. ADDED NOTE: After completing the shooing of the video, a young man came over and we started talking about hot sauce. So, despite earlier saying he would never try hot sauce on ice cream, Dominic gave it a shot. He loved it! So, I restarted the camera and recorded. The results of this second recording are attached to the end of this video. Please enjoy this video!
