Tip for getting A Ranks: Destroying gold beetles isn't required for Tails' stages. Try to go for a combo shot with Tails whenever possible. This gives the most amount of points. Exploit checkpoints. Checkpoints tend to give you item boxes, should you pass through one without getting hit. For Route 101: Just go through the stage as fast as possible. Getting rings to boost in these stages is a must. In order to drift, let go of the accelerate button briefly, then move the analog stick left or right while making sure to hold the accelerate button not long after. To stop drifting, do not hold the analog stick left or right for a few seconds. The no HUD cheat code was made by‪@sheekogegoo2264‬ Route 101 is definitely an A rank. That is the only level (along with Rouge's kart level) to be without the result screen. The result screen for the other levels was left in, as it is impossible to remove the fade, even with hacking. I ended up not using Tails' hover ability in Prison Lane even though I had it unlocked, simply because I wanted to stay true to how you would normally first go through the stage on a new save file.
