In Nepal, Indigenous Peoples, women, and Dalits, among other local communities, have been at the forefront of forest management, including adapting nature-based solutions for locally driven climate mitigation and resilience that have contributed to sustainable resource management, protection of forest resources, and ensuring that the future generations are also able to reap benefits from their forests. This video highlights three success stories in the Terai region of Nepal where communities have been able to enhance their livelihood opportunities and benefit from environmental services through sustainable management of forests.
