This record is Kind of Blue by Miles Davis, the song is called "So What". Release info of this particular pressing can be found here: https://www.discogs.com/release/25068... The cartridge is an Audio Technica AT-ART9XI, which is a moving coil cartridge with a line contact tip on a boron cantilever. The audio recorded by the microphone is replaced by a recording using the same setup and a USB audio interface called the RME ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition. While YouTube isn't the best place to preview sound quality, it'll be good enough to get an impression of the characteristic sound and looks of the setup. It's used in combination with a SPL Phonos pre-amp. This cartridge has a lot of soundstage depth, deep bass and well behaved highs. It's a very good tracker, as it managed to complete all of the tracking tests on my Ortofon test record without issues. Because of this, it has almost no issues regarding sibilance, bass heavy records and even sharp edge warps. For this recording I've set the load resistance on 470ohms. The phono preamplification was set to 56dB. I've kept the other settings at default recommended for this cartridge.
