Krist did say see you Sunday. After a successful gig at the Warfield a day prior, Nirvana return to Hollywood for their gig at the Palace. The setlist for this gig is incredibly jumbled. Drain You starts the show but Jesus Doesn't Want Me For A Sunbeam is played during the encore. Floyd The Barber is not played. About A Girl is played before Smells Like Teen Spirit. Aneurysm is played after School. It's a pretty unique setlist and the band still deliver regardless of where the songs are played. This tape only surfaced less than 20 years ago, 15 years after this gig was played. You can hear in the intro that the taper dedicates this show to a friend named Mark, which I thought was awesome. Not a lot of banter to report (unlike the previous gig at the palace). Krist shouts out the supporting bands like Hole, Greg Sage and the Wipers and Dave reports that his diarrhea pills are working.
