The thing to do is to taste it with the thick curries, chicken or vegetarian, that are dished out by Ashok Anna and his family at this eatery, Hotel Laxmi Janardhana, located in a town called Yermal, about 30 kilometres from Mangalore. The setting is quite rustic, and the crowd an eclectic mixed lot. But it is the food that rules here, as I discovered during a busy morning here. Hope you enjoy this one.
