Unboxing, Review, and Using a Giffin Grip MINI for Trimming Pottery on the Potters Wheel!

Giffin Grip has long been a reputable manufacturer of fantastic tools for holding leatherhard pieces while trimming. This past spring at NCECA, Giffin Grip gifted me a new MINI to share with my viewers. I was impressed and excited to try out this new terrific tool in my studio and my classroom. The versatility of this trimmer is great as it can go right or left handed since it locks and won’t unscrew, and the versatility of the different widths of the bat pin holes allows it to be used on conventional wheel head sizes along with the tiny wheel head size of my few Shimpo Nidec Aspire table top wheels I have in my classroom. It doesn’t absolutely replace the regular Giffin Grip, but is a great addition to the already great line of tools.
