DONATE HERE: https://gofund.me/851d8bb7 Nearly two years ago, Dr. Jeff moved his renowned veterinary clinic, Planned Pethood International, from Wheat Ridge to Conifer, Colorado. At the same time, just a few miles west of the new clinic, the Intermountain Humane Society animal shelter faced financial hardship and was about to close its doors forever. When Dr. Jeff heard the news, he immediately stepped in to help, and Intermountain Humane became part of Planned Pethood International. Since then, both non-profit organizations now operate as one entity and have been working hand-in-hand to help rescue and care for animals in need and find them new forever homes. But the Intermountain Humane Society facilities in Pine, Colorado, had become old and quite costly to maintain, so this past December those facilities permanently closed and Dr. Jeff announced that he would reopen IMH at a brand new, state-of-the-art facility at the site of his Planned Pethood International clinic. For dogs and cats alike, the new IMH shelter promises to be an incredible place, with heated floors, indoor/outdoor dog runs, a sunny and spacious cattery with an enclosed “catio” where cats can enjoy fresh air during the warm summer months, and numerous other amenities required to make the animals’ stay as comfortable as possible while they await adoption. Dr. Jeff also believes that all animal shelters should have access to full-service veterinary care, and he hopes that by combining PPI and IMH in one location, a new precedent will be set for other rescues nationwide. However, while the sale of the old IMH property will help finance the construction of the new facilities, donations will be crucial in order to complete the project in 2025. But Dr. Jeff can’t do it without your help. Any and all donations made here, no matter the amount, will solely be used to complete the new Intermountain Humane shelter at 11825 U.S. Highway 285 in Conifer. This IMH relocation marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, one that will undoubtedly lead to more animal success stories, more lives saved, and more hearts touched by the kindness and generosity of people who care. Thanks to Dr. Young and his team—but especially, thanks to YOU—Intermountain Humane will continue making a profound difference in the lives of animals and ensure that the shelter’s mission remains strong, sustainable, and filled with hope for the future.
