Meet our arborists

Meet Josh and Connor - two of our arborists here at St Helens Borough Council. Josh joined the council as an apprentice straight from school, working his way up over the last 10 years to become Working Supervisor. Connor has been with the team for three years and has progressed from a trainee arborist to Craftsman Arborist. They work tirelessly alongside the rest of our Parks & Street Care team to maintain our trees across the borough. They do all they can to ensure trees have a long and healthy life, only removing trees when absolutely necessary or a risk to safety. In this short video, they explain what an average day looks like for them and the work that goes on behind the scenes to ensure residents and visitors can enjoy our parks and open spaces safely.
