Hello friends! Today are in Bangkok, Thailand. We will visit the aptly named Grand Palace of Thailand. The Grand Palace complex was established by King Rama I in 1782, essentially moving the location of the capital from across the river. It consists of royal and throne halls, government offices as well as the renowned Temple of the Emerald Buddha. It covers an area of 218,000 square meters and is surrounded by four walls, 1900 meters in length. The history, ornate architecture and fanciful mythical creatures are truly unique! The Palace was built directly beside the Wat Pho temple, which we will also visit. Wat Pho is one of the highest levels of Royal temples and houses the famous Reclining Buddha.
