How to use the Z-Fold Haemostatic Gauze: 1. Remove the haemostatic gauze from its packaging using the perforated tear edge. 2. Locate the first layer of the gauze and use your thumb to push it directly into the wound. 3. Continue packing the wound using a thumb-over-thumb action, ensuring the gauze fills the cavity. 4. Once the wound is adequately packed, place the remaining gauze on top of the wound. 5. Apply direct pressure to the packed wound for at least 3 minutes to help control bleeding. 6. If bleeding persists, continue applying pressure for an additional 3 minutes. 7.
