This is a compilation documentary of a 1-month long workbench build, or as I like to call it: The Milwaukee Flip-Top Workbench. In this video you will see a showcasing of the Milwaukee Table saw, and Milwaukee Miter saw I used to build it; as well as the sketchy setups I had prior to this workbench. This was the biggest woodworking project I've made to date and was made in the first few months of my woodworking hobby. You could say this was made by a beginner, for a beginner. I used a wide array of different tools to complete this build, as well as some custom-made jigs for accuracy. There are many complicated joinery methods incorporated into this bench including castle joints, bridle joints, half laps, and the flip-top portion of the bench for storage of the Miter saw. The bench was specifically built for the dimensions of the M18 Fuel 8-1/4" Table Saw, and M18 Fuel 10" Dual-Bevel Sliding Miter Saw. It is a combination of long form video, shorts, and landscape photos. I decided to sand & finish each piece prior to assembly, as I figured this would be better than trying to sand & finish throughout all the complicated joints & tight spaces. The trade-off was an increased assembly time, but well worth it as once it was assembled, it was completely finished. Thank you for taking the time to watch! I realize this is far from the best quality in video editing. It was my first big woodworking project and now the foundation for me to build everything else. Going forward I will be attempting to both capture and edit video footage in a much more user-friendly and engaging process. Have any questions? Feel free to leave a comment.
