FSD Nails Driveway-to-PT in Hard Rain Today’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) adventure was easily one of the most impressive yet — a completely hands-off, zero-intervention drive from my driveway all the way to physical therapy (and a quick stop in between) downpouring rain the entire time! Normally this route takes about 20 minutes in good weather, but with standing water on the roads, zero visibility at times, and traffic lights almost impossible to see, most human drivers (including me) would be white-knuckling it. Not FSD. It was smooth, confident, and 100% flawless from the moment I pulled out of the garage until I self-parking perfectly at both destinations.Highlights from the drive: 0:00 – Leaving my house raining 4:35 – Memphis driver runs red light. (This happens all the time) 9:00 - Tesla sees up ahead police officers blocking the right lane and moves over. 13:30 - Approaching a light with oncoming left-turn arrow where the car in front of me not paying attention delays going on green arrow and just sits there… something you’ll literally never see FSD do. It’s always paying attention 360°. 17:50 - Self-parks in 1st destination 21:00 - The wild moment: FSD calmly makes a fully unprotected left turn across FOUR lanes of oncoming traffic at a busy intersection. I would NEVER do that myself — I’m a “turn right and U-turn later” kind of guy when it’s sketchy. Yet FSD waited for the perfect gap and executed it smoother than I ever could. 29:30 – Final leg to physical therapy — another flawless self-park in the parking lot. Hope you enjoy the video. There are 5 FSD Driving profiles… Sloth (follows exact speed limit) Chill (2mph over) Standard (5mph over) Hurry (6mph over) Mad Max (6+mph over) With each driving profile, the computer will act differently… Mad Max will be super aggressive. FSD speed limit offset 20% (will go this much over the speed limit to keep up with surrounding traffic. (e.g. if traffic is going faster than the posted speed limit, FSD will match traffic up to 20% over the speed limit). FSD is hands-free but requires supervision in the driver's seat. The supervisor is monitored by in-cabin cameras. Glance away for more than a few seconds, and the system will prompt to look ahead. If not timely, it will prompt to touch the steering wheel ("the nag"). If steering wheel isn't touched timely, FSD will disengage and require taking over manually for the remainder of drive. This is all part of current "Supervision" status. Tesla Setup I have a 2025 Model X Long Range. Insta360 X5 Insta360 Electric Suction Cup Positioned in the middle of driver and passenger seats I am all about ease of use… The reason why I purchased the insta360 suction cup is it automatically keeps the suction by the press of a button. #FSDRealWorld #FSDPerfection #TeslaLife #AutonomousDriving #cerebralpalsy #FSDFreedom
