Immaginare una nuova immaginazione | Dario Voltolini | TEDxTorinoSalon

ITA Abbiamo l’abitudine di pensare l’immaginazione come un qualcosa di “statico” o meglio non mutevole nella sua essenza, non malleabile di per sé. Se invece avalliamo l’ipotesi che l’immaginazione stessa, attraverso dei mutamenti propri, sia in grado di reinventarsi oltre che reinventare, allora le nostre prospettive possono ampliarsi. L’immaginazione può, dunque, diventare strumento attivo per immaginare una nuova se stessa in grado di aiutarci a riformulare un’idea di futuro che non sarebbe possibile creare senza approcciarsi a essa da questo nuovo punto di vista. Può sembrare complicato a dirsi, ma è forse assai più facile nella pratica. Il “come” ce lo spiega Dario Voltolini, scrittore che con l’immaginazione “dialoga” ogni giorno. ENG We are in the habit of thinking of imagination as something "static" or rather not changeable in its essence, not malleable. If, on the other hand, we endorse the hypothesis that imagination itself, through its own changes, is capable of reinventing, then our perspectives can widen. Imagination can, therefore, become an active tool for imagining a new self that can help us reformulate an idea of the future that would not be possible to create without approaching it from this new point of view. This may sound complicated to say, but it is perhaps much easier in practice. Dario Voltolini, a writer who has a daily dialogue with imagination, tells us how. Dario Voltolini is a writer and Italian journalist who lives in Turin. He was a professor and director of the “Holden School of Storytelling & Performing Arts” and has collaborated with “La Stampa” daily newspaper.
