Round One of the LHCO I was on feature card and played well off the tee hitting most of my putts during a rare no-wind day at Sara Park. Unfortunately, I went OB on the 2nd to last hole and missed the putt for par from the drop zone but in the end, I finished -21 on 24 holes with a course record 1065 rated round. Make sure to check out the second round, link below. This is my favorite tournament every year and the 5th time I've competed at Sara Park in Lake Havasu City. The course, designed by Graham Russell, is challenging in length and elevation but what is the best part is the final 3 holes of the event (7, 8, 9) are islands. You never know if you are going to hold a lead or fall apart coming down the stretch. Don't take my bad camera quality as any indication of the quality of this course. Everyone should put the Lake Havasu City Open on their bucket list, disc golf destination tournament.
