Two hours from Medellin, Colombia by car or tour bus, Guatapé might just be the best choice for taking a day trip out of the city. I did just that during my month-long stay in the country. In addition to climbing 700 steps to get to the top of the Rock of Guatapé, I was able to check out the colorful town, take a boat out on the reservoir and enjoy some fantastic Colombian food.
