Song Title: Brimstone and Fire (The Story of Lot) Artist: Unauthorized Frequency Album: The Kinetic Breach (2025) The Story: The Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah: God determines that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah must be destroyed due to their extreme wickedness. Two angels are sent to investigate and to rescue Lot. Upon arriving, the angels are hosted by Lot. However, the men of the city surround the house, demanding that Lot hand over his guests to be “assaulted". Lot “offers" his virgin daughters to the mob to protect his guests. The crowd refuses, and the angels strike the mob with blindness to end the siege. The angels warn Lot to flee with his family before the city is rained upon with "brimstone and fire." They are strictly commanded not to look back at the destruction. As they escape, Lot’s wife disobeys the command and looks back. She is instantly transformed into a pillar of salt. Believing they are the last people on Earth and desperate to preserve their family line, Lot’s daughters conspire to get their father drunk. While he is intoxicated, they conceive children by him, who eventually become the founders of the Moabite and Ammonite nations.
