Empaths and codependents try to fix and rescue narcissists. When you try to heal a narcissist with your love, your efforts will be used against you. There are dangers to trying to save a narcissist. You can lose yourself trying to convince them they need help. If you spend time empathizing with their behavior or their wounds, you may lose yourself in the false realities of a narcissistic person. Your life source will be drained and if you don't escape, you can become a permanent source of narcissistic supply, all while trying to rescue and help a narcissist. If you are codependent, need to feel needed, or identify as a caretaker or rescuer, you Dear One, may find yourself stuck in a toxic world of cognitive dissonance, blameshifting, crazymaking conversations, and unhealthy toxic relationship dynamics. Below the veil of consciousness, you may feel compelled to please a narcissist. You will edit yourself, walk around on eggshells, and disown yourself to keep the peace. Slowly, you die a mental, emotional, and spiritual death until you AWAKEN and begin to DETACH from the relationship. Gaining perspective STOPS negative momentum and teaches you how to become the SILENT OBSERVER of your thought process.
