Winter Camping Wilderness Adventure: Homemade Tarp Shelter - Wool Blanket - Fire - Food

I could have easily hung a tarp ridge line but wanted to make it a little more challenging. I built a log frame to drape the tarp over and secure it. I used my auger to drill holes in the frame and attach them together with wooden pegs and secure supports with bank line. Used the good ole Canadian jam knot. The frame will allow me to build a natural shelter using present vegetation etc. for future videos. I made a sleeping pad using spruce and pine bows. I had my trusty partner Shadow, who loves coming along with me on wilderness adventures. I only brought a locally made wool blanket from MacAuslands Woollen Mills and the temperatures ranged from -2 degrees Celsius to about -6. It was a little chilly but I survived lol.
