2026 is rapidly approaching, and with it F1 will see a big revolution, with many changes not only in the driver line-ups but mostly in other aspects One of the biggest news of next year is for sure the switch for the Alpine F1 Team from their own power units to the Mercedes turbo V6, which will power the French team for the first time Back in April I had the chance to record an Alpine A523 in an all carbon-black livery testing in Monza, in action together just with a Williams FW45 which of course was powered by the Mercedes power unit.
