Hello, hello, hello! I felt I hadn't sang in a while (despite having an hour long concert just last month) so I wanted to do something. For a little storytime, when I was younger I absolutely adored KOTOKO. She was definitely one of my favorite vocalists and I admired her skill and range a lot. My favorite song of hers growing up was by far Re-sublimity because of how powerful the vocals were, they really punched me everytime I listened to it. I tried singing it a lot from ages 10 to about 16 and my voice just couldn't do it. I have a very "powerhouse" type untrained voice that really relies on belting and things of that nature, so I was always disappointed I couldn't sound good whenever I tried to sing. Because of that, I never posted any tries or even finished the song because I felt so defeated. I wanted to re-visit the song now that I have a little more control over my vocals and have matured a bit. I don't think it's perfect as nothing could amount to the power KOTOKO brought with Re-sublimity, but this is the best I have been able to do and though I usually struggle to say I am ever proud of anything I do, I am actually pretty happy with how this turned out!
