Kavos is known for the parties and nightlife however, you can 100% have a relaxed and remote experience in Kavos if you follow what I did too! I am still not sure what it is actually called; Kantina Arkoudilas or Babis Kantina, like it said on the sign when I was there. 15:10 – 15:19 The bus from Kavos to Corfu takes way longer than an hour like Google said. There are many school stops etc. It's actually a really nice experience because you're travelling like locals with locals. It costs under 5 euros and you get there in under 2 hours. The bus stop in Kavos is outside a place called TexMex. When you want to get off, you simply stand up and the bus stops for you haha! The way back is from Green Buses Terminal in Corfu. 15:30 – 17:01 The Old Fortress http://odysseus.culture.gr/h/3/eh355.... I recommend getting there as soon as they open, around 08:30/09:00 to avoid standing in line PLUS to avoid crowds as you’re walking around. Taking pictures and videos are much better when there are not many people around 😉 For one person, tickets are 6 euros. 17:16 – 17:43 Kanoni Plane Spotting Point If you scroll down on this link https://www.spotterguide.net/planespo... you will find a map of all the best places where you can relax with a drink or food to enjoy the views of planes taking off and landing. I actually had food at Royal Boutique Café https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUse... and I think that was the best spot from above, but you can see for yourself! 17:43 – 18:20 Kanoni Boat Hire https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attract... Here you can rent a boat that requires you to have zero experience and no license (which is how I did it). The guys there speak perfect English, they talk you through everything you need to know as well as give you a lesson on how to drive the boat, how to anchor it, provide you with a life jacket and snorkel goggles (no snorkel pipe) and a map which is super easy to follow. I did this all by myself, it is very easy. It costs 80 euros to hire it for 4 hours which you can pay by cash or card at the end of the trip. You will also have to pay for the petrol you used, but this you can only pay by cash. It shouldn’t cost you more than 30 euros (it cost me 15 euros as I stopped for quite some-time to look around, make videos etc.) You are actually allowed to leave your boat and explore beaches which can only be accessed by boat - how cool! 18:21 Royal Boutique Café https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUse... 18:25 – 21:55 E&G Figareto Aparmtents https://www.booking.com/hotel/gr/e-am... As a last minute booking it cost me 80 euros. But, it is worth it! It’s 5 minutes from the plane spotting point and the Kanoni bay/boat rental place! 25:20 – end The Secret Beach! Just follow directions to Arkoudilas Beach. When you’re there, turn right. Short 5-10 minute walk past the nudist beach and you should find some secret beaches (including the one I stayed at – look out for the rocks in the water, that was my spot!)
