Shirahama in Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, depicted in this animation, is a town facing the Pacific Ocean in the southwestern part of the Kii Peninsula, and it is rich in nature and known for its warm climate throughout the year. The area has many tourist attractions such as Shirarahama Beach, one of the best beaches in Kansai region, and Shirahama Onsen, home to one of the three oldest hot springs in Japan. Every year, the town hosts the Waste and Environment Fair as a way to raise awareness about environmental issues among its townspeople, by informing them of current issues surrounding waste and the environment, and introducing various examples of environmental conservation initiatives. Hayashi’s music is reminiscent of the scenes of the bustling city, and the calming sound of the waves coming from Shirarahama Beach. Based on hip hop’s boom bap style, he produces songs of various genres such as city pop and r&b. He has composed music for Awesome City Club, mega shinnosuke, chelmico, and iri, as well as provided a number of high-quality music for both major and indie music, such as remixes for Izumi Makura, odola and CBS.
