We have a lot of things to say about this track, first of all this was at the begining of Shaba7's fame and start of his golden era. At the time Shaba7 and E3dem as a whole was established as a small but talented crew from Bteghrine but when Raji and Peet featured them, Shaba7 showed the scene his talent. One of the first tracks that created it was this Iconic track titled "Tazakkar ya Ensan" published by Raji and Peet in may 2009. They created several tracks before shaba7 bought his studio and Smoke started producing in Bteghrine on a high level. Shaba7 is Georges Murr and he introduced ABS to the Lebanese Scene and helped him jumpstart his career but more about this later. Smoke is another story, he is extremely intelligent and was a beat composer at the age of 15 maybe earlier and created many gems including this one, his name is Georges Saliba and he left the scene to achieve high educations in engineering. We know nothing about them both today. At this time of the track (transitional phase), Shaba7 used to record on FL studio using a shit microphone but smoke's production made it clear enough to understand, Peet used the same method because he didn't have access to a studio and didn't know a thing about production at the time. But Raji was on his first trip to Qatar where he bought a small home studio and recorded there, it is noticeable the difference of quality. Which brings us to Raji's verse... I try not to include my personal opinion but damn this is my favorite Raji verse of all time, the energy the lyrics the delivery the realism... it is unmatched and I still listen to the song despite the bad quality at the first couple of verses just to hear raji kill it. PS: At the time when Raji was in Qatar recording this track, he discovered B-7 crew (Boo Omar, D3aybes, Haith...) and started producing them, and we will release those tracks soon! We aim to archive all the Lebanese Rap songs that contributed in the building of our local scene. Enjoy and let us know in the comments what songs you would want us to upload next.
