The best way to start becoming a Buddhist

This is my experience and opinion about how to become a Buddhist. Part of the free class 'Basics of Buddhism' by The Centered Path. Buddhist Minister, Reverend Sean Thompson of the Centered Path teaches basics of Buddhism, tradition, philosophy and training in small segments that are easy to understand and geared to help people come up with more motivation and enthusiasm in researching Buddhist thinking and practice. I focus on the common texts which support eachother from Theravada, Vajrayana, Mahayana as well as Chan/Zen studies. I am no expert on all things Buddhist, I too am learning and this helps me dig deeper for understanding and to help this be easier for me and others on the path to liberation.
