Big Family Ikea Haul (Spring Edition!)

Our family headed over to Ikea because we need a place to put our books! We decided on some wooden shelves but honestly once I got home I wondered if we should have gotten the Billy shelves and tried to reinforce them. (Lol I'm not good at making decisions.) But thankfully I have some time to decide because Marc needs to put some flooring under where the bookshelf is going to go first which will take a while. Currently he is working on Chloe and Melody's room so that gives us some decision making breathing room! Naomi was feeling under the weather but she really loves Ikea because it provides so much inspiration so she decided to come with us anyway. She is such a talented young lady I know she can do anything she puts her mind into! (She just needs a bit of a confidence boost sometimes.) At Ikea we got some yummy meatballs but Melody got the Mac and Cheese (which was also pretty yummy!) And of course we had to stop by the bistro and get some cinnamon rolls (and ice cream). We also found some Easter Chocolate too. Later that evening the big kids went busking in Little Italy. The kids go busking only once or twice a week because the music lessons/ expenses are less here thankfully. The balmy San Diego weather is a welcome change from NYC! I made some Meat Sauce for dinner and we all had a meal together. Early this morning Marc took Pearl to the airport and we already miss her so much! #largefamilylife #ikea #ikeahaul
