A small taster of these markets. We did a 4 day break from England, 766 miles in total. We caught the 6 05am Le Shuttle, got to Bruges for breakfast and had about 5 hours here, then onto Gent a 45 mins drive away and enjoyed the early evening market, took about 4 1/2 hours. Day 2, headed to Dusseldorf, about 3 hrs 15 mins, arrived at 12pm and spent that afternoon, evening and following day here. Day 3, headed to Lille France for lunch, about 3hrs 30 mins drive and spent 3 hours here which was enough to see the market, a few shops and coffee and cake before heading back to Cite de Europe for a little shopping and then the Le Shuttle home.
