Newport was Chrysler's Hardtop line until it became a stand alone model in 1964, I believe. "Newport" is on the base of the rear pillar. Very rare car to have Imperial interior. '55 was last year for the 331 but apparently the blocks can be insanely overbored by modern standards. 354s and 331s I thought Carl said were the same blocks except for the overbore of the 354. High nickel-content steel made the motors nearly indestructable, hence their expense and eventual demise by the bean counters. (Carl's)
