This video provides a short tutorial on how to dockstart with a hydro foil surf wing. I’m riding a Slingshot Hoverglide Infinity 99 front wing (2400sqcm / 99cm span) with a 48cm rear wing and the Dwarfcraft Micro 3’6” board. I’ve been riding this setup for 3 weeks and really enjoying both. The small board makes foiling feel like skateboarding (fast and smooth carving) and the 99 lifts like you wouldn’t believe. I’m 86kg / 190lb and the 99 unlocked dock starting for me. I was previously riding the Infinity 84 (2100sqcm / 84cm span) and needed the bigger wing to enable dock starting.
