#Pakistan #Modi #operationsindoor The Army made a stunning reveal on Monday officially confirming the fact that Pakistan targeted the holy Golden Temple with Drones and Missiles- an attempt that was thwarted. An army video also suggested that Pakistan may have used its nuclear capable Ballistic Missile against India. A Missile was intercepted by India's Air Defence System on 10th of May in Sirsa not far from Delhi. Drone Warfare has been at the heart of Operation Sindoor & the 4 day war with Pakistan that followed. When used in combination with missiles/aircraft it acquires an entirely new dimension. In a stunning display of precision and preparedness, Indian defence forces intercepted and neutralized over 600 Pakistani drones during Operation Sindoor—thwarting a large-scale retaliation attempt by the Pakistan Army aimed at Indian cities. The hostile drone swarm followed India’s decisive strikes on terror camps deep inside Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Responding swiftly to the escalating threat, India unleashed a formidable air defence shield across its western front. More than 1,000 anti-aircraft guns were positioned from the Line of Control (LoC) to the International Border (IB), forming a seamless wall of firepower. This robust network was reinforced by over 750 short-range surface-to-air missile systems, primed to take down high-speed aerial threats before they could breach Indian airspace. Barkha Dutt speaks to Commodore Jaideep Maolankar, Lead test pilot for two major aircraft development programmes & defence expert.
