DON QUIXOTE

Electronic music, kind of on the heavy metallic side in places with some pschedelicness thrown in. This track has a Don Quixote line of thought behind it. An interesting story and book I must read sometime. Seems like a tug of war between a mans fantasy life and the real world, as such. Of course there is only one reality and that is your own. Recorded on Eurorack synth modules and found myself trying to push the oscillators to places they didn't really much want to go... felt like I was tilting windmills for most of the session in my endeavor to heroically go unto the unknown, but it is quite a fast track and it can be more difficult so I'll try not to be too hard on myself. The accompanying video visualization has a few windmill like elements to help the theme along a bit. Would have been nice to have more experience of creating 3d objects, such as windmill like structures before starting on the video, but the quick abstract ones are enough I think. The boxes have a picture of a horse from some of my old artwork, also included to help theme the video a little. Modular art dragged kicking and screaming into the world via Eurorack - though am sure it will one day grow into a fine thing. Sound sources from Cosmotronic, Erica Synths and 2HP.
