At the invitation of Christoph Giulini, Guillaume Bruère painted many large-scale portraits of the residents of an accommodation for homeless people in Berlin between May 24 and December 5, 2024. All the paintings are acrylics on canvas and measure 200 x 150 cm. The resulting works will be donated in part to a foundation set up by Christoph Giulini. The foundation has set itself the goal of creating visibility for the project and the issues of homelessness in the form of a traveling exhibition, as well as supporting people whose existence is threatened.
