After 15 years, we FINALLY tied the knot! It was quite a journey, we must say. We have waited 15 years, prepared for the wedding for 2 years, rescheduled multiple times, downsized the guests to 50 and revamped the wedding plans OVER AND OVER again. Initially we planned for a grand wedding- all our family, friends and colleagues physically present to witness our union. But God has other plans. After rescheduling our special day countless times due to the pandemic, we finally decided to push through despite the fact that we cannot have our dream wedding. If there was one thing the pandemic taught us as we journeyed along, it was that we we DO NOT NEED to have an extravagant event. What matters most is the SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE and not the GRANDIOSITY OF THE WEDDING.
