आलन्दी (Alandi) Such a beautiful temple, But Not well maintained. Banks of Indrayani River which used to be so Holy and clean, doesnt give that feeling at all. Just like any other over crowded temple, this is the one. and you hardly get to see St.Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Samadhi for 10/20 Seconds. if we consider Only temple, Then certainly it is a Good place. Such an Old temple. People in the village are nice though. they make you feel that you have come to an holy place. You get a Nice Tea at Amrut-tulya, Just next to the temple :-) Just 17Kms from Alandi, another village called Dehu (Dehu gaon) is situated where you can find St. Tukaram Maharaj Mandir, Gatha Mandir and Vaikunth Mandir. Also you can find The house where he used to stay. St.Tukaram Maharaj temple is another Good place. Very much calm and Quiet place. Well maintained. Mandir has a very beautiful Murti (Statue) of God Vitthal - Rakhumai. Just a kilometer away from this temple a new temple Gatha Mandir is being constructed. (Construction is almost 60-70% done) This Gatha Mandir is going to be one of the favourite Tourist attraction near future. Nice weekend trip.
