We're checking out Brooklyn Games & Arcade on 4th Avenue in Brooklyn, NYC today! This small shop has positioned itself as a hub for the fighting game community in New York, but they're having some struggles being able to keep the doors open. I visited on a Friday evening to take a look around. There's a lot of imported Japanese candy cabs running all the classic fighters, a number of retro consoles hooked up to CRTs, and even a single, solitary rhythm game hanging out in the basement. While this place is definitely targeted to a very specific niche of a niche, I hope they can manage to gain enough support to keep on rolling for years to come.
