I decided to take my father in law to Texoma. He is a retired furniture/cabinet maker and makes our thumpers. He is an amazing craftsman but has only fished a few times. He is also right handed while I am a lefty, and even though I had some baitcasting rods, he had to manage with the wrong handed reel a few times. We Carolina rigged live shad and the thumper constantly brought fish in, the bite was so epic I invited nearby boats to share the thump!
