vlog # 10 - spent thanksgiving in North Carolina and documented my first vegan thanksgiving! if you've ever wondered what the coast looked like in North Carolina, this video is for you! When I first visited NC, I had no idea there were so many different beaches. In the summertime, it gets really hot out, the water is warm, and it feels so good to swim in the ocean there compared to California where the water is cold pretty much year-round. I gotta say, I love visiting NC in the summer because of the warm weather but one perk of visiting in the winter is no mosquitos are out! Didn't get one single bite on me this time. The outer banks feels like a snapshot in time back in the day when things were slower, more mellow, and simpler. I came home feeling a sense of contentment and a clear head. Life can be simple and sometimes we overcomplicate things. Living in Southern California, there's a buzz and energy unique to this area, so it was nice to get away for a bit. Thank you for watching!
