Theirs is to now be an electable monarchy with none other than Brandon “Bran the Broken” Stark taking over as the first king. The belief is that this will break the “wheel”--the cycle of violence that has afflicted the inhabitants of the seven kingdoms due to their current political structure. But, according to research in political science on the topic, their new system and their choice of king, is probably going to lead to a whole other civil war. Also!
