ANIME: Sonny Boy (2021) SONG: Sunset Rollercoaster - Let There Be Light Again After a month of working on this music video, I'm finally done! I'd been planning to create a music video for Sonny Boy and the song when I finished the series. I was really taken aback by the whole production of the anime. The story, the visuals, the plot, the music. I wouldn't say that I understood the entirety of Sonny Boy when I watched it back in July, but I was able to understand enough for it to resonate with me. I encountered this anime at a time when I was making a slow and daunting transition from college to the real world, and I think that's one of the reasons why I was fully enthralled and captivated by this anime. It’s a coming-of-age story shrouded in literal reality-bending events that the students find themselves in. It delves into one's personal growth, the decisions we have to make that will shape our future, and the pressure we feel as we near adulthood. Hope you enjoy the music video! I made it with so much consideration to the plot and the connection between the episodes.
