This is the TRX Android Client app, which allows you to remotely monitor and control a Whistler scanner over a local WiFi or LTE internet connection. My setup consists of 1 primary WS1098 scanner which is controllable, along with 3 additional WS1098 scanners. The additional scanners are monitoring fire department dispatch channels, another for mutual aid, and another for city primary FD dispatch. The additional scanners cannot be controlled, but have been configured with alert tones when receiving, and their audio mixes into the main live streamed audio using nothing more than a 4-into-1 3.5mm dongle. In my job as a news photographer, this scanner is in my ear via Bluetooth whenever I am out of my news car, and allows full control of the primary scanner, pausing a frequency, scanning, even full menu access and configuration, all from the phone app with a roughly 2 second latency/delay. The audio, unlike Broadcastify, is real time, and high bitrate/quality. What you hear on this recording was across the internet and what is being played out of the phone. The thumping sound at the end of each transmission is a glitch with the screen recording, and is does not come across the phones speaker or BT connections.
